Contemporary Scottish Landscape Painter
Land and seascapes of the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
About Penny
Penny Godlington is a contemporary Scottish land and seascape painter. Her paintings reflect a deep connection with the Scottish landscape. On her travels from her home in Strathspey, she gathers visions of distant islands, wave-lashed shores and stormy skies. She works with acrylics using bold colours at her studio in an old steading overlooking Abernethy Forest in the Cairngorms National Park. Her paintings express the drama of the Highlands and the islands of the Inner and Outer Hebrides and Orkney.
Penny is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists.
She studied at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, graduating with 1st class BA Hons .
